Home sales count is almost matching last year's inventory. Sales volume continues to increase and the price per square foot is steadily climbing.



1)   Salt Lake County - June

  • Sales Volume: $759,262,021.00 in 2020 vs. $$700,847,570.00 in 2019

  • Median home sale price $375,000.00 in 2020 vs. $347,750.00 in 2019

  • Cumulative Days on Market:  17 in 2020 vs. 15 in 2019

  • Home sale count: 1,772 in 2020 vs. 1,774 in 2019 

  • Price per sq. ft $173.16 in 2020 vs. $159.90 in 2019 –a difference of $13.25 per sq. ft.

  • Median list to sold price 100% in 2020 vs. 99% in 2019

 

2)   Utah County – June

  • Sales Volume: $447,497,798.00 in 2020 vs. $362,494,563.00 in 2019

  • Median home sale price: $352,700.00 in 2020 vs. $335,000.00 in 2019

  • Cumulative Days on Market: 18 in 2020 vs. 24 in 2019

  • Home sale count: 1,154 in 2020 vs. 979 in 2019

  • Price per sq. ft $143.74 in 2020 vs. $132.61 in 2019  – a difference of $11 per sq. ft.

  • Median list to sold price 100% in 2020 vs. 99% in 2019 

 

3)   Davis County – June

  • Sales Volume: $193,837,933.00 in 2020 vs. $194,278,865.00 in 2019

  • Median home sale price $354,944.00 in 2020 vs. $335,400.00 in 2019

  • Cumulative Days on Market: 10 in 2020 vs. 15 in 2019

  • Home sale count: 506 in 2020 vs. 531 in 2019

  • Price per sq. ft $152.60 in 2020 vs. $142.67 in 2019 –a difference of $9.90 per sq. ft.

  • Median list to sold price 100% in 2020 vs. 99% in 2019

 

These numbers only account for homes that were sold on the Multiple Listing Service so much of the new construction is not factored in.
